Background information (you do not need to read):ĪR# 66440 : Vivado - Linux OS - Digilent and Xilinx USB cable installation check The drivers are loaded, and the USB devices are present.Īs it turns out, Vivado needs a bit more configuration (updates to UDEV rules), and includes (but did not invoke) the needed scripts. ![]() Verified that current stock Linux already contains the Linux drivers for the two USB chips (Digilent's FTDI USB-to-FPGA chip, and the Silicon Labs Dual UART bridge). ![]() Have a VCU118 FPGA development board (also a KCU105), which did not appear in the Hardware Manager. Installed Vivado on Linux (Ubuntu-derived Mint 20.1). Putting this up for the next guy, as it took me a while to puzzle out.
